Our Last Supper

You might have seen this on the news today. This is Iain Campbell the artist who helped us with our first festival as well as painted 'This is not Jesus' painting we hung during Holy Week and beyond and will go back up after the New year and all the Christmas decorations are down.

This is called 'Our Last Supper' and painted live, in the cafe at the Tron in Glasgow connecting with Glasgow City Mission, with which we also have a strong connection. Which reminds me that we are volunteering for two weeks with GCM this year for their winter shelter and there are a couple of spaces left. More details about that on Sunday at the service and in the intimations. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know. It is a good experience for volunteers but a better one for those who use the shelter that shows people do care and are still willing to give of themselves. This is incarnation: the word of love becoming flesh.
