Our probationer from Zimbabwe has arrived for her two week stay. Farisi Sakala (no potograph yet but working on it) arrived this afternoon and the next two weeks I think are going to be very filled with blethers, worship, meeting, visiting, talking and learning about us as we hope to learn from her.

It's great to have someone who has come from a culture where church that is growing so quickly: what insights might she have for us, what experience of church might she open up to us, what possibilities might be engaged with, and what wisdom, experience and love might we share back?

It's going to be an interesting and busy fortnight. One evening we'll have an open night where we might explore some of these questions together and hopefully manage to keep the conversation going longer than 14 days.

Who's up for that?
