Film Club

Book Club were out at the cinema tonight watching Light Between Oceans. Twas good but the book is better. Personally I'd see the film on the strenth of the book but not the other way around. But scenery and sunsets were stunning.

For me, I also quite enjoyed all the trailers. How sad is that but they were more exciting than the actual film (it's a drama but not dramatic). It got me thinking about a spin-off for the congregation and we should create a cinema club. There's 'Arrival', 'Fantastic Beasts', 'Dr Strange', 'The Girl on the Train' and others.

We could just announce we're going, give the time, meet people there, everyone buys their own ticket and get a McDonald's (or is that a sin?). We could do family ones too and even get some in the hall for everyone on a regular basis.

Anyone interested in helping organise?
