Luke 2:1-20

'In those days' is how it begins. 'In those days' means we get caught up in all the history of the piece. 'In those days' implies not in our day.

But it doesn't take much for God to be found in skin. It doesn't take great imagination to find God among us.

'In those days' God did it this way: stable, manger, shepherds etc. In these days, God does it this way: Aleppo's ruins, Berlin's streets, and every corners in our Parish.

Really, Christmas isn't about a lot of imagination and mystery and wonder. It doesn't take a lots of any of these to find God present among us.
