Citizenship anyone?

It is interesting listening to the UN speeches this week. 'Britain First', 'US first'. We've hit the buffers with our liberal values. All that aspiration has come to little. Borders are now stronger, fear is higher and the world is smaller given the speeches being heard today and with Mrs May tomorrow.

But that's only true for those who are not wealthy. Apparently you can now buy EU citizenship for a mere half million Euros. The Cypriot government is selling full residency and unfettered travel rights in Europe. Even in the UK, for an investment of £2 million you can gain citizenship. So if you are super wealthy the world is increasingly liberal. If you aren't, and especially if you are poor, the inequality is worse than ever.
