Church is good for you. It is official. In fact it is probably better for you than you imagine in way's you can't imagine!
Indeed the more boring the sermon, the better it is for you apparently because recent research confirms what has been posted here before that boredom is good for you.
Psychologically it is good for you because when you are bored you pull on your imagination more which leads you to more meaningful behaviour: your creativity is given space to imagine things. When you are so active that you don't have any down time then your creativity and imagination goes to pot. You need boredom to spark your imagination because where there is nothing else to do, your imagination comes into its own and is given space.
So there's the good news: come to church because if you are bored it enables the imagination the creator gave you to spark, and if on the other hand church interests you, then that can't be bad form you either. You can't lose. Win win.
I knew God had a clever sense of humour.
