So the headlines will change tomorrow. For the last two weeks we've had Brexit coming at us from every direction. Tomorrow Chilcot will publish his £10 million report.
As we should have done with the referendum vote, we should pause before we make decisions about the outcomes and think of the consequences. There will be lots said and blame given but one lesson from so much that has happened recently is to pause and reflect first and not jump to pass blame.
Yet in that reflecting there is equal space to think about what has happened in Iraq and how our lifestyles and principles and morals have been part of that, and what our expectations of power and quality of life have been.
In every war there is always blame but there is always humility and lessons so let tomorrow change the headlines but let it also give us space to reflect and learn and reshape the world and our relationship with it.
