There is something about the dodo remains that are being auctioned at the end of November that just invites us to pause and reflect.
Perhaps we should all have an image of this dodo skeleton on our walls in churches and institutions as a wee reminder that life is all about 'being reformed' and finding ways to respond and engage with the world as it is.
It's not about survival but finding ways to live. Paradigms shift all the time, the ground moves, the culture changes and faith is alive to those transformations and is ready to find the language and story to respond.
The dodo is just a wee reminder to us what the alternative might be.
