Think Again 3

March 22, 2017

Think Again seems to get bigger each week. Tonight we took the imagination of spirit and danced round that, wondering what creativity might yet do to the church and what it means to love neighbour in a faith context, more than any other agency. What makes us faithful? Perhaps it is seeing more than just bring kind to neighbour but also connect promise and faith and story and vision and the kingdom to these actions.

We also wondered about chaos and cosmos and how the church at the moment is in some chaos. What strands of life (Ignatius) should we hold on to in order to draw out the cosmos? Then Holy Week so is such a time of chaos. Easter is the cosmos, but it is a new kind of cosmos, a new kind of order: resurrected order. So each time the chaos comes, the cosmos that ultimately results is a new order. It doesn't go back to the old order. It is resurrected...

Just some of the themes we explored tonight. On again next week. Reading chapter three of the Creed Booklet. Since we talked of the new cosmos order in resurrection, then we ought to explore what we mean by that. Roll on next Tuesday.
