We had a good insightful session conference tonight with Peter Gardener and Muriel Pearson chatting together and exploring what it might mean to be church.
We tuned in with the whole idea of paradigm shifts, places of conversation, working in partnership, closing the church for 6 months and seeing what happens, if people find new ways to congregate, finding new frameworks to describe what we do, and discovering we are what we do, so let's introduce some new stuff into what we do, and see where that ends up.
Thanks to them both for those thoughts and reflections. We did listen. Promise. So much so I've even found this Sunday's sermon amongst it all.
So lets meet at the table on Sunday and be a bread and wine community in the echo of reformation and paradigm shifts which we generally call the day to day living in the kingdom. That's not necessarily the church... but that's a different sermon.
